Cynthia Millhorn is many things — and she'll be the first to tell you, with a laugh, that she's never been good at picking just one. Scholarly and silly. Warm and wickedly funny. Whether she's onstage or in front of a classroom, she knows she's just one part of the puzzle. It's essential that she listens to her audience just as much as they listen to her. Every moment together is a living, breathing moment of community and connection — and that is simply magical.
She holds dual master's degrees in Communication & Storytelling Studies and Liberal Studies, has performed for festivals, schools, churches, counseling programs, fringe circuits, and private gatherings across the country — and built an entire creative empire around the belief that storytelling is the most powerful thing a human being can do.
Scholarly enough to footnote it. Funny enough to make you forget she did.
